The International Conference on Human Rights, Sustainability and Climate Change seeks to place human rights approach at the heart of global climate change discussions by converging multi-disciplinary, academics, post-graduate students, researchers, policy makers, activists, post graduate students and industry practitioners to present key findings, explore and activate result-based solutions on the impact of climate change on social and economic rights of human beings.

A key focus of the conference is evaluating the fast fashion industry’s contribution to climate change: it accounts for 10% of humanities carbon emissions, 20% of global industrial water pollution and a major contributor to greenhouse gas emission. The conference will therefore, also explore themes of sustainability, ethical practices and the negative impact of fast fashion on climate change.
