APHC at UCLA Koreatown Community Health Fair Koreatown Senior and Community Center, Los Angeles

The Asian Pacific Health Corps (APHC) at the University of California, Los Angeles is hosting the 2022 Koreatown Community Health Fair (KCHF) at the Koreatown Senior and Community Center (965 Normandie Ave 200 STE. Los Angeles, CA 90006) on Saturday May 21st, 2022, from 10:30 AM to 2 PM. Our mission is to foster an environment conducive to advocating health awareness through education and prevention in the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community.

We have had much success in providing health services in the past years through our other health fairs in surrounding areas. Just in this past year, we have served the Monterey Park, Chinatown, and Rosemead areas and are hoping to similarly contribute to the Koreatown area with KCHF.

At KCHF, we aim to provide a variety of health services such as blood pressure, body fat, glucose, cholesterol, hepatitis B, dental, vision screenings, and more. The health fairs also supply a broad range of health information in multiple languages, catering to the various API populations that we hope to affect in the Koreatown area. Attendees will also have an opportunity to receive free prizes such as household items and groceries through a raffle system.

We are asking if you will consider allowing us to collaborate with your organization to advertise our event, so that we may better promote our health fair and reach a larger audience of service recipients. We would greatly appreciate your support as we strive to better the health of the local API community as a whole.

We can be reached most readily by email at aphc.hf@gmail.com. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns. Thank you very much for your time and we look forward to your reply.
