The film festival celebrates women filmmakers and artists by providing a venue, networking forum, educational opportunities and a chance to see and hear stories from women around the world. From Oscar Winner and Executive Producer Jeff Bridges ( The Fabulous Baker Boys / True Grit / Kingsman) and starring former NATO Supreme Allied Commander, General Wesley Clark ( Real Time with Bill Maher / Stars Earn Stripes / House Quake / The China Hustle) and his son Wes Clark Jr. go on a journey through the financial circulatory system connecting farmers, homeowners, bankers, academics, and business professionals in a tale that explains the knot of economic forces that can lead to collapse and how to untie it. “ Hot Money” Director Susan Kucera. Susan has 2 films in this year’s film festival, the other is titled The 12th Hour with David Morse and Peter Russell.

From Executive Producer Spike Lee, Spike Jonze and Alma Har’el, Dina Amer, an Egyptian-American filmmaker and award-winning journalist, explores the roots of radicalization through a contemporary coming-of-age story in her bold feature debut “You Resemble Me”, “it’s a powerful take on the woman falsely accused of being Europe’s first female suicide bomber” Cineuropa

”A Place Among the Dead” First-time film making team Juliet Landau (Daughter of Martin Landau and Barbara Bain) and husband Deverill Weekes team up as a writer producer team and bring some big names to a very personal film. Stars Juliet Landau, Gary Oldman, Ron Perlman, Robert Patrick, Lance Henriksen, Joss Whedon and Anne Rice (appearing for the first time ever in a movie). Juliet is more than convincing in this genre-bending art film, that explores the repercussions of growing up under the sway of narcissism and psychological abuse. Juliet’s acting credits include “Drusilla” in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and co-starring as Loretta King in Tim Burton ‘s Ed Wood also starring opposite Whoopi Goldberg in Theodore Rex, currently you can catch Juliet on Hulu’s #1 hit show “Bosch” as Rita Tedesco. Juliet and Dev will be at the film festival answering questions and discussing growing up under narcissism and psychological abuse about the film.
