Whidbey Plein Air Paint Out Reception and Sale! Pacific Northwest Art School, Coupeville

The Friday event and subsequent weekend long sale culminates a four day painting competition attended by up to 80 artists from all around the Pacific North West, from novice to professional. Their paintings, up to 200, are eligible for awards and are all available for purchase. Friday night attendees will be treated to fine wines and bites from our local bayleaf and there will be a wine garden with live flamenco music provided by well known guitarist Andre Feriante. Come mingle with the artists, see who won awards and nosh on tasty bites and wine and take home an original plein air painting. Artist are free to paint all over Camano and Whidbey Island. Paintings will reflect historic townscapes, seascapes, mountains, farm fields and much more. Following the Friday night, 21 plus event is a FREE and open to the public weekend long sale August 17-18th 10-4 p.m. This is a fundraiser for our non profit 38 year old art school.
