Evidence Based Perioperative Medicine – Asia Congress 2022 (EBPOM-Asia 2022) is back after a successful congress in 2019. We would like to invite you to join us again for EBPOM-Asia 2022.
This meeting will take place from 9 – 11 December 2022 at the NTUC Centre @One Marina Boulevard. Under the theme “Mastering Perioperative Resilience”, we aim to inspire you with eminent personalities and experts from far and near, discussing innovative and evidence-based strategies to improve our care for patients undergoing surgery.
For this second iteration of EBPOM-Asia, we are pleased to welcome ANZCA Perioperative Medicine SIG on board, which will be joining our three local societies (Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists, Society for Geriatric Medicine of Singapore and the Geriatric Surgery Society of Singapore) and EBPOM International, a large network of international academic institutions that exists to promote the examination, discussion and application of evidence based medicine to perioperative care.
This collaboration will enable EBPOM-Asia 2022 to feature and network with internationally renowned clinicians and researchers, who will share, discuss and debate new developments and controversial topics that impact our daily practice. There will also be a platform for participants to share their research abstracts on any topic pertinent to perioperative care.
Among the areas that will be covered by the 5 organizing societies within the 3 plenaries and 19 symposiums of EBPOM Asia 2022 are :
Singapore Society of Anaesthesiologists (SSA) will continue to feature new advances in all subspecialties of anesthesiology such as ambulatory, pediatric, obstetrics, cardiac, neuro and transplant anaesthesia
Geriatric Surgery Society of Singapore (GSSS) will feature talks covering the latest developments in surgical techniques, value driven care and perioperative care of older adults
Society for Geriatric Medicine of Singapore (SGMS) will be covering important aspects in the holistic approach to older adults undergoing surgery, such as the management of frailty, malnutrition and cognitive dysfunction

EBPOM-Asia 2022 will provide an open space for discussion and exchange of ideas, as well as opportunities to connect your products and enhance your brands with a truly global audience of senior decision makers and globally influential personalities in the field. There are many advantages to getting involved in this full two-day Congress, which offers tremendous scope for companies and institutions to expand into new geographical areas and reach a wider audience. No effort will be spared to make the scientific program for the EBPOM-Asia 2022 exciting, productive and a major learning event for surgeons, anaesthetists, physicians, nurses and allied health personnel locally and internationally.
