Drug Discovery Chemistry is a dynamic conference for medicinal and biophysical chemists working in pharma, biotech, and academia. Focused on discovery and optimization challenges of small molecule drug candidates, this event provides many exciting opportunities for scientists to create a unique program to hear presentations most suited to one’s personal interests by going back and forth among concurrent tracks. New for 2023 is coverage of targeting transcription factors, plus greatly expanded coverage of protein degraders, molecular glues, and artificial intelligence for early drug discovery. Speakers from industry will once again be strongly represented, including: AbbVie, Amgen, Astex Pharmaceuticals, AstraZeneca, Biogen, Bristol Myers Squibb, EMD Serono, Genentech, GlaxoSmithKline, Janssen, Johnson & Johnson, Merck, Novartis, Pfizer, and more. In addition, featured presentations will be given by the University of Washington’s David Baker, Stanford’s Gerald Crabtree, Vanderbilt’s Stephen Fesik, and UC Berkeley’s Daniel Nomura.
