Building on the successes of our previous vascular conferences, our aim remains to raise awareness of vascular disease, a progressive chronic illness whose onset is often difficult to detect. Whilst risk factors can usually point to its possible presence, it is frequently only detected when it manifests with a complication. There are several measures to prevent or delay its onset as well as a variety of options to slow its progression.

During the event, we will discuss the latest advancements and best practices of vascular medicine, through worldwide initiatives in education, training, research and practice. The event serves as a platform for educational opportunities and interactions with colleagues and experts in the field. It aims to raise awareness and ultimately help prevent onset, progression and complications associated with vascular disease.

The sessions will be led by regional and national experts on a wide spectrum of vascular topics and directed toward health care professionals caring for patients with these conditions. A multidisciplinary panel of speakers from vascular surgery, vascular medicine, neurology and cardiology will provide insight into medical management as well as open and endovascular techniques.
